Recognition is not paid
No company can pay to be recognized, to be listed or to appear higher on a list. Top-Rated lists do not rank companies.
Every company is held to the same bar
A company qualifies when it meets the published criteria: a Google rating of 4.8 stars or higher with a review count at or above the metro's published review bar on the same listing, an active state license and service in the metro. No company gets an exception.
The publisher's agency
The HVAC Standard is published by Joel Keith, who also runs a marketing agency; some companies featured here work with it. Those companies are held to the same bar as every other company, and the disclosure applies to every awards page.
What recognition means
Recognition reflects a company's public Google rating and review count, its state license status and its service area when they are checked. It is not an inspection of the company's work or a guarantee of any job.
Status
Recognition opens in 2027, and no company has been recognized yet. The Top-Rated seals shown on the site so far are samples.
