Information, not professional advice
The HVAC Standard publishes general information about heating and cooling, costs, rebates, rules and running an HVAC business. It is not engineering, legal, tax, financial or licensing advice for your situation. Prices, rebates, rules and licensing requirements change and vary by place. Check with the agency, utility or a qualified professional before you act. The calculators give estimates from the inputs and sources they list. They are not quotes.

We source and check what we publish, as the editorial standards explain. Even so, we cannot promise every page is complete, current or free of errors. If you find a mistake, please tell us.
